OUTLINE
This three-day course
is an in-depth introduction to the techniques of nonlinear editing
on the Avid Xpress DV and Avid Xpress Pro systems. The class progresses
through all the basic phases of creating a sequence, including inputting
source footage, assembling and trimming sequences, editing audio,
creating titles, and outputting a finished program. Class time is
divided between demonstration and hands-on practice. The course
is designed for video editors and developers of interactive media.
